What's on YOUR mind?
Hello Everyone!!
I can't express how excited I am about FINALLY starting a blog!! Besides dancing, I have always had a passion for journalism. I consider it a way to connect to people and I believe it is our relationships with each other that keeps the world a happy place. Since Breaking Pointe, I have been given the gift to travel around the country meeting so many of you! From young to old it has been such a pleasure to see with my own eyes how my life could effect so many, positively. I get questions on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram so often and it's hard to answer in just a few sentences. I think this blog is the best way to answer all of your questions!!! Don't be afraid to ask away!!
xoxo

I loved watching you on Breaking Pointe. I wonder what your relationship is now with Rex? Also did Jonathan ever regret asking you to quit dance to be with him? I'm sure he watched the series and saw how talented you were and how much it caused turmoil for you to choose.
ReplyDeleteAllison, I think you're awesome! You'd be a great journalist. I think we should take you to Ghana with us some day once our rescue center is up. You'd be such an inspiration to the young girls. I think you are the bees knees! Can't wait to see what you write next!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! Hey so, just curious, exactly how many pairs of shoes do you dance through in a month? I always see your instagram on the road with a billion pairs. And those things aren't cheap! Are all of you responsible for purchasing your own or does BW or other sponsors provide for you all? Thanks for keeping in touch with us! That's the reason you are one of my faves! Keep that head on straight girl! ♥
ReplyDeleteAllison, you are stunning to watch... a truly exquisite dancer with an extraordinary talent! I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you on Breaking Pointe and would love to see you perform one day. Dance was my passion for 24 of my 35 years... and not a day goes by that I do not miss the feeling dance provided me. I admire you... thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
ReplyDeleteAllison - congratulations on the blog....not only are you a very talented dance, but a great friend. Can't wait to see what's in store for you in the future. Love that you have a blog - I'm sure it will be very interesting!

How are you and the rest of the cast doing since the end of season 2? Could you maybe write updates on each cast member as long as they are ok with it? thanks :) glad you're doing a blog now!
ReplyDeleteHi Allison! I loved getting to see inside a real ballet company on Breaking Pointe. I hear that you're from Pittsburgh, PA. I live near Pittsburgh and was curious, how did you end up halfway across the country at Ballet West? Did you audition at a ton of places or just a few? Thanks! xo
ReplyDeleteHi Chloe!
DeleteMy first real post will be a LONG answer to your question! Keep you're eyes peeled for it tonight!

I would like to know what Salt Lake City is like. I want to be a professional ballet dancer, but I also want to go to college. I am looking at the University of Utah because they have an outstanding ballet program. However, coming from a city, I'm kind of nervous about what Utah would be like...it seems like it would be much different from where I live. Could you talk a little bit about where you live and the pros and cons? Also, do you have any advice for someone wanting to be a dancer but also wanting to go to college?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!

Hey Allison, I'm so glad you have a blog now! And I'm sure it will be lots of help. I was wondering, what I need to do (big things ) before I get on pointe. I've been dancing for 6 years but have only done 1 1/2 years of ballet. What are some major pointers and tips before pointe
ReplyDelete-xoxo Sofia :) <3
So excited to read your blog. Wishing you the best in all of your endeavors!
